About Speaker
David Alimbarashvili is the Chief Risk Officer at AccessBank Azerbaijan, where he leads risk management and ESG/ESMS initiatives. He brings over 25 years of experience in the banking and finance sector, combining executive and consultancy roles across Georgia, the South Caucasus, Central Asia, the Balkans, Ukraine, Spain, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Before joining AccessBank, David served as Chief Operating Officer at Equifin Holdings (2018–2022) and held senior leadership roles at Liberty Bank, where he led the transformation of credit risk systems and operational processes. His expertise spans retail banking, credit risk, operational transformation, and sustainable finance.
David holds a Master’s degree in Sales and Marketing and speaks Georgian, English, and Russian.
