About Speaker
Stefan is CEO of BCR Social Finance and Head of Corporate Social Innovation in BCR, the special programs created by the Erste Foundation, Erste Group and BCR to support entrepreneurs and education in Romania. Stefan is also the president of the Romanian Microfinance Association, whose members finance together almost 40.000 entrepreneurs from Romania and VP of the European Microfinance Network. For the last 14 years he is the president of Let’s Do It, Romania!, the biggest volunteering movement in Romania, who managed to mobilize over 2.7 milion volunteers in its actions across the country in many clean up and education actions. The mission of the organization is to create a volunteering culture and to tackle climate change. He graduated the EMBA at WU Executive Academy in 2017 and a Business Sustainability program at MIT Sloan School of Management. Stefan has an experience of over 18 years in banking and financial services.
