About Speaker

For the last nine years Nino Devdariani holds Chief Risk officer’s position at MBC, first Microbank in Georgia. For the last three years she has been serving as a Chairwoman of the Microfinance Association of Georgia. Nino has more than 18 years of experience in Risk Management, within leading financial organizations in Georgia.

Nino holds master’s degree in Policy Economics from Williams College, MA, USA, where she studied under World Bank’s scholarship.

She strongly believes that microfinance is one of the most powerful and cost-effective tools in fighting against greatest challenges of the world’s economy - global poverty and inequality. Even small amounts of credit can help people escape poverty trap.
