About Speaker
Etienne is Associate Director, Fund Management at Innpact Fund Management. He joined Innpact in 2021 to oversee the Microfinance Enhancement Facility (MEF). He continued in this role following the transformation of the MEF into the Global Gender-Smart Fund (GGSF) in early 2024 and has been closely involved in the development and implementation of the fund’s gender strategy. He brings extensive international experience in the impact investment space following over 15 years of experience in the finance industry, including over 10 years within IFC’s Financial Institutions Group with a specific focus on investments in the microfinance, banking and leasing sectors. Throughout his career, Etienne was based in various countries and had the opportunity to lead projects in a number of emerging markets in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Middle East, with the aim of maximizing development impact.
